 In this series, I strip the world down to black, white, and a single bold pattern or color, then hide the eyes—the usual gateway into a subject’s soul. In that absence, I ask the viewer to sit with questions: Who is subject when I cannot read about her? What parts of her identity am I projecting onto this silhouette of style, pattern, and pose?

Through augmented reality, these women come back to meet you on their own terms. When the work is activated, stillness fractures into motion, shadow becomes emotion, and the image reveals a layer of inner life that was always there but never fully accessible. The AR is not a trick; it is a metaphor for the ways our stories, cultures, and fashion choices carry entire unseen worlds.

I am drawn to bold feminine fashion as a kind of armor and language. Each woman holds her own visual volume—through pattern, hairstyle, or silhouette—even when her gaze is withheld. This collection is my way of honoring the complexity of being looked at, of choosing how to be seen, and of reclaiming narrative through both paint and code.
